Patty Dreier, author of Empowered: One Planet at a Time, will join other local and regional authors for a book-signing event at Barnes & Noble on Saturday, October 28, 2023 in Wausau, Wisconsin. The event will take place 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Empowered is a tookkit to equip activists to take action on environmental or social issues they feel passionate about. “I wrote this book to help more people stand up for their planet and themselves,” said Dreier. “No matter what issues you care about—whether you want to do something about ensuring clean water for all or fighting racism or protecting our planet’s oceans or eliminating homelessness, this book helps you build a recipe for success.
